Hi everyone Well I've been reading the forum for about a week. I made some soupie toda, I had everything but the liver. My store was out of it. I also added a little bit of olive oil and pumpkin. They took to it perfectly. Everyone likes it and eating it my ferrets are 1,2, and I'm assuming 5 or older

Congratulations!!! That's a big first step let them have that for a couple of days and then start thickening it every other day til it's the consistency of a wet ground meat

Surprisingly it's not even that soupie it kinda thick and they love eating the cubes frozen. How many should I give a day. They really seem to eat them throughout the day.

You should be able to get a scale from Walmart or most department stores. If your ferrets took straight to the soup, you may be able to try giving them chunks of meat to see if they will eat that also. I switched mine that way, for the most part. They started with soup and then I tossed them some cut up wings and necks. I feel that I dragged the switching out, to be honest, by trying to make things as per recommended instructions. The soup my ferrets eat has nice 1/2" chunks mixed in with the pureed heart and organs.

Definitely try them with some real meat and see how they do with it
