Paulie loves his stuffies! They are his babies and he will wrestle them (all sizes, small to as big as him), then skip away with them under the bed or drag them into his pink robe where he gives them a bath. Some stuffies (the dragons and Squirrel) I know longer remove from his nests because he looks for them to groom before he sleeps. Squirrel and Baby Dragon are immediate hides if they are not in a nest too! One baby rattle (another precious but not a baby) and teasers go into the "hoard" which is under my bed/hope chest. You know he loves a toy when he no longers wants you to play with it but stashes it like Scrooge McDuck's gold.

I LOVE all these stories. What a crack-up :-D
Rufus has a plastic bag he is obsessed with. I always closely watch him when he is playing with it (because I'm not too keen about him playing with a choking hazard) but if I try and take it off of him he throws a massive hissy fit!! It is so funny that something so plain brings him do much joy!!

Asher is OBSESSED with my iPod in its case. He doesn't care about the case alone or the iPod alone, but when the iPod is in the case he goes a little apesh*t. Video of him being a bad boy: www.flickr.com/photos/halblingefrau/505889(don't mind the mess, the ferts were pulling everything out)

Ok, got to show you what Vincent's "precious" used to be ;D It's the only thing Boris would let him play with when they were babies ;D Didn't matter what he was doing, when he saw this- he HAD to try to stash it ;D

Both of my kits are absolutely obsessed with books. It doesn't matter what kind of book - notebook, journal, dictionary - if it has pages in it, they love them.
I have a bookshelf filled with books, and the first thing they do when they get out is run towards it and try to find a way to pull the books off the shelves. They get behind them, push them off the shelf, then they flip open the covers and start pushing the pages over (but amazingly I haven't seen any torn or destroyed pages.. yet). After they've had their fun, they pull it around the room by the binding and try to hide it somewhere. Usually in the closet.

Mine have always emptied the bookshelves fast(especially Boris when he was having a tantrum ), but never tried to stash them! And yes, Vincent's precious was a tad large ;D It used to be really funny watching him try to stash it under the sofa. When he finally realized it wasn't going to fit, he'd tuck it safely into a corner somewhere. Needless to say, he'd get really upset when we'd finished another jug of milk, and he saw his precious out of place, back in the kitchen

What a cute little cat tower! It's so awesome! And it's a perfect hidey hole for those special items. I could imagine my Trixie trying to stash a shoe in there. She'd probably have a hard time getting up the ladder with my sneakers

I've had a number of fuzzes who adored "things". Porthos loved this blue tennis ball (just this one, none of the other ones ). Captain Jack (ironically) loved a little stuffy monkey who my son named Jack. Loki had a cat stuffy that he stashed under the recliner. If someone would drag it out (human, none of the other ferrets cared anything for this one) he would get terribly upset and restash it under the recliner again. He never stayed with it, it just had to be there. This is a video of one of Thor's precious'. He has two of the same type, a chipmunk and a bunny. He stashes them in litter boxes (why not, he doesn't use them except to stash his toys) I confused him recently by switching the sleepy house with the litter box. I thought he would just stash the chipmunk in the sleepy house but no he just dropped it off in front of the house He's not to bright ciao
