That is how both Fun-Go and Minion were. Though Fun-Go is a deafy, Minion is not. He hears fine both are RC's though and you have to handle those kits consistently. Both ferrets were abused and are fear biters. If you discipline or retaliate for a bite they just escalate and bite harder and faster. They also seem to now instinctively where to bite to get the most effect ciao

I just ready through this and omg Sherry! What an awesome idea! Jinx has never really bit hard and he doesn't bite my daughter at all, but as of lately he has been pushing his boundaries and going for my feet when I walk! And scruffing used to work, but now it just makes him mad. I can't believe I haven't thought to use a time out crate! I will definitely be trying this. And if this doesn't fix his hard-headness I will try the bite hold y'all talked about

The time outs do take a while, so persevere with it. But they DO work

Edgar my Dew has never bit humans except when he was a kit and I tried to take away jerky he stole from Loki. He is new ferret aggresive especially towards omega type ferrets. He didnt like my ex friends 2 girls and it took him a month to get used to Eva after nearly turning her poor previously bald neck to ground beef. Loki used to be bad with Jays ankles and rarely mine. She is an 8 yo BRM or heavily marked DEW. Now her bites are rare all around. If you urine her off(or another ferret does) she thinks about it or tries but we finally learned to watch her very carefully when she's around our feet. She does a particular walk that means she's mad.
