It's certainly not a bad food, have you considered raw? A baby fuzz, would never look back if you feed raw. It's just food to them, they will eat it without any difficulty, you need only learn how to feed it ciao

It is a good freeze dried raw. But expensive so I would supplement it with a frozen commercial raw diet like Bravo or Primal or fresh raw meat. I think freeze dried is a godsend though. I use the archetypal 1 and it is great.

Rad Cat is also a good frozen raw diet for ferrets. No grains, no vegetables or plant matter. The Bravo & Primal have less than 5% plant matter so thry are good. Stella & Chewys also make excellent freeze dried raw. I use both the canine & feline formulas.

If you aren't comfortable feeding raw meaty bones, or for some reason cannot do it, then yes, by all means look at things like commercial raw diets and/or freeze dried foods! And Wysong's Archetypal 1 Ferret is a good freeze dried. Mine took to it quite easily. However, if you feel you would LIKE to feed a raw diet, but aren't sure how, or are scared of doing it, fill in our mentoring application. We'll get you matched up as soon as your little one comes in
