I was wondering if when following the standard feeding schedule of a raw diet if Omega-3 type supplements are still encouraged. Such as ferretone type products. Keep in mind I do not currently feed my ferrets fish products.

With the omega 3's(since most of us don't really feed much fish), I'd use either a salmon oil, or a small marine fish oil. I do use ferretone, but seldom. I don't like the fact it has known cancer causing agents in it(BHT's and BHA's). The oil will not only help with the digestive system(especially during shedding season), but it will help with the itchies as well.

A lot of people here feed a type of oil. It definitely helps with shedding and can be a great treat for the fuzzies. Extra virgin olive oil is also good because it is thought to help prevent the ulcer causing bacteria. I'd move away from ferrettone and try something like Sherry mentioned.

Salmon oil contains omega-3 in a usable form. Omega 3's have anti-inflammatory properties - as well as being required by the body.
since ferrets tend to get hairballs, and since extra virgin olive oil has anti-helicobacter properties in lab studies, quite a few of us use extra-virgin olive oil for hairball prevention.
