He still looks gorgeous, Nancy. It's so good to see a healthy 7 year old who still maintains the quality look that he had as a youngster!

Thanks guys, yes Fonz is one of my all time sweethearts. Just sad he never produced anything, mostly because for several years I did not breed and did not have a good cross for him. I hate when they get to 7 or so as then you really can hear the clock ticking. Time to spoil them more. So much I've learned from being with the older ferrets. That is when you truly get to know and appreciate them IMO.

Well for dinner they got 12 adult mice to share amongst 5 ferrets Finn was so happy about mice for dinner, that he gobbled down the first whole mouse, tail and all, leaving nothing behind, in less than a minute ;D I've never seen him eat mice this quickly in one sitting, normally he would eat the head and maybe chest cavity but come back for more later... After his first mouse he took a break but ate a second one just a little while later ;D There was plenty to go around fortunately, about 2.4 mice per ferret. We'll see if any are left by morning lol...

Well, I learned something about Finn. There is not much I can do that bothers him, but there is ONE thing he does not approve of apparently: Blowing raspberries on his tummy ;D
Sometimes I can't resist and I do it anyway... but whenever I blow a raspberry on his tummy he bites my forehead ;D

Yeah, she loves her rasberries on the tummy Not as much now as she did when she was younger, but she still has her moments ;D She used to lift her tummy when I stopped, and when I was doing it, her head would drop right back.

Just an update. Finn is definitely in rut He is greasy, sticky, reeks to high heaven, and his jewels are big and red. I recognize this smell lol... He has not started to go after the girlies though. I'm keeping a very close eye on that.

Never mind, I spoke too soon Finn IS going after the girlies. He wasn't yesterday but today he is. Poor guy, looks like it's time for separate playtimes already So far he's not bothering the boys so I'll let him be with them until or unless he starts going after them.
