Hey all, so I'm sure some of you are familiar with my ferret Weasel and his poor bum problem. Well the last time we saw the vet she wanted to trying a long course of baytril as a last ditch effort before surgery, but it's giving the poor love diarrhea:( my vet suggested yogurt which isn't working or also said she could rx some productive if I needed. Just wondering if there is anything else off we could try that might work. Thanks all! ^_^

What is he eating? Maybe try adding some pumpkin daily to bulk up the stools.

if you are still giving him baytril it is very hard on the tummy when we give it to foals they also go on anti ulcer meds as well very strong and ment for very bad infections. i don't know about it but for dog/cats i use slippery elm bark tea good luck
