The weather is finally allowing me internet to work correctly. Thank you everyone, they are my pride and joy. It’s nice to be able to talk to some folks who don’t think I’ve lost my mind because I talk about them 24/7. @ferretdroogies, It wasn't much of a soup, just something I whipped up real quick to get some protein in her. Puréed chicken and some FerretVite. She’s a picky one, just like Badger. Wants nothing to do with anything that is not kibble. The little skinny girl kept refusing to eat, no matter how hard I tried. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it before, but it occurred to me that she might be very depressed. I decided to introduce her to my group and see if she perked up, and well, she has since moved into their home. She and Badger were instant friends. Skinny Girl is a very loud dooker, as is Badger, so all I heard for two hours straight was the patter of their feet sprinting around the floor and their constant dooking. Falkor simply didn’t care, of course. He took a cursory sniff and went on to amuse himself in their ‘ferret ball pit’(A small cat tent with openings in the sides filled with jingly balls). Lamb Chop’s reaction was rather surprising. She sniffed her, made an awful face, and scampered along her way. After a while, she actually joined in Badger and Skinny Girl’s play, then of course having to assert her dominance. When it was time for bed, I stuck Skinny Girl in with the rest of the kids and she ate like a PIG. I was so thrilled. Over the past couple days she’s already starting to look better. Sleeping in the cube, Badger is somewhere hidden in the blanket: Her little feet!:

Haha, I'm going to try very hard to find her a home with other ferrets, but that's the Catch 22. I didn't want her to bond closely with my group, and the other way around. However, it seems that she must for her own health. I think you're right, Katt. I was trying so hard not to get attatched, but it's probably futile at this point. Haha, and yes, my life would be incomplete without their pattering little feet!

Hmmm, looks like another well meaning rehome has bitten the dust. Welcome to ferret math You welcome them into your home, offer them food, give them a place to stay, tell them its only temporary....and with a tickle of whiskers and the patter of little feet, the brats steal your heart and you've been by a fuzz ;D ;D ;D. Are congratulations in order, or does she have to continue trying to "weasel" her way into your heart ciao

You have beautiful fuzzies. I have to say here that sadly you got to the name I had planned for a Black Roan Mitt before me - Falkor! I saw one once that looked exactly like Falkor The Luck Dragon and I was certain I would use it. Back to the drawing board, I guess! He's adorable and it suits him.

I love the pics and the stories. Your Badger Face reminds me of my Rufus. He is so clumsy! He has the funniest little walk - rather than actually walking he sort of sideways runs. It's too cute!
Good luck with picking a name and fattening up the latest edition to the family - if u do decide to find a good forever home for her once she is healthy I am sure you will have no troubles. She's adorable!! :-) just look at those adorable tocks heheheeeee
