Thanks guys for the support and tips! Everything I've given them has been raw, from the soups to the chunks and parts. I'm going to the store tomorrow to pick up some more raw meat. I know some places that sell meat pretty cheap around here. I've never eaten cornish hen or even lamb myself so I've never even thought to look for it but I'm sure some of the meat markets here sell it and they have really good sells often. I'm currently moving furniture around to better optimize their play time and placement of toys, dig boxes, etc. Also so I can access their cage better for cleaning. Before, I'd just clean it once every week to two, completely pulling the bottom tray and using a hose but doing that every single day will be too much of an inconvenience. As well, I have three big loves in my life; the girl I'm hoping to marry, my ferrets and books. One is conflicting with the other since Willow seems to think books are chew things and I don't really want to spray bitter yuck on something I handle so often and intimately so I'm hoping to get them completely out of his reach.

So wow guys, I should have taken a more meaningfully posed "before" picture but I think you'll all still notice the results. It's late and I have to work early but I'll take one tomorrow afternoon and post. Ophelia has filled out in ways I've Never seen in my time owning and feeding her kibble. I'm so happy with the results of this, and her energy has just sky rocketed. She's really back to the Ophelia I remember as a kit and she has completely taken to Willow and giving him a good run for his money. She still doesn't quite match him in energy but more then fulfills her role as big sister. She looks so much healthier, I'm just ecstatic with the results of all this. I know I say thanks every other breath but that's cause I mean it!!!!

I'm so glad that you've seen such changes in your little ones. It's really astounding isn't it. Just a dietary change can mean so much to the health and well being of these little creatures. ciao

When you think about a human who eats nothing but junk food for the longest time, and suddenly starts eating healthy and exercising- that's what's happened to Ophelia I'm so glad she's responded so fast!

That reminds me of Pixie. She just turned 3 and every day she just surprises me with her energy, happiness, and willfulness to play with my youngest. On kibble, she was so much more... Sluggish. Now she just bounds with energy, and just has such a glow to her Congrats on the switch!!

I've got two adrenal 5 year olds who are the same way. And then Boris- IBD, adrenal, and while the IBD gets him down, the raw diet has kept him from becoming dehydrated even though he's had diarrhea pretty much for a year.
