Its always best to keep ferrets in pairs if not more. They'll get more stimulation and be happier that way. Plus when they are in their cage at night (or whenever else) they'll at least have someone to cuddle and play with.

I thought so. I'm definitely leaning towards two. If it's going to make them happier. Plus, they're just so cute together.

That's true. In that case, I'll need to save a little more. Thanks for pointing that out! I've just found that there's a ferret vet in my town, that's AWESOME. I don't know if she's raw diet/holistic, but the fact that there IS one here is amazing, since there are only 8 listed in my state

Good fund to have set aside is about $1000 per ferret, in case of blockages etc. or at least have that available on credit And yes, IMO I'd only ever have a minimum of three(if one passes, they have another to rely on), many find a single to be better for both their lifestyle and budget. I've never really done a single, so can't really comment on that ;D
