My little baby fuzzy is proving to be entirely FINICKY!
He basically has no interest in any kind of toy. The only thing he wants to play with is my blanket! I smush it up into a ball and he goes nuts climbing on top of it and burrowing through it.
He has no interest in tunneling tubes, boxes, plastic bags, or plastic toys. You name it - he walks right past it. Every time I let him out of his cage for play time, he goes straight for my bed and isn't happy until he's burrowing in my blanket.
Also, he has no interest in sleeping in any kind of bedding, either! I've tried a couple different kinds of hammocks and beds, and what he does instead is pushes everything aside and sleeps in the middle of the hard plastic floor of his cage!
And here's the kicker (for me, anyway) - he absolutely will not eat his food out of any sort of container. Whether it's a bowl or some kind of dispenser, he will not eat it unless it's off the hard plastic floor of his cage.
(there IS bedding on the floor of his cage, by the way.. he pushes it all to the corners)
I don't mind any of this, of course, I guess I just feel like the little guy is missing out (and slightly weird ). I feel bad when I go to check on him and he's lying on the cold hard plastic floor of his cage! I want him to be warm and safe and happy.
Not really sure where I'm going with this - just looking to hear others' experiences with finicky fuzzies.
