This is my big fat baby, Zero! He's going to be 6 in April. We adopted him as a puppy from someone my sister knew. They told us he's a pomeranian / terrier mix, but we think he's got to have something else in him. He's too tall to be a mix of just those two. A lot of people ask about his name.. My sister's name is Jackie, and we call her Jack for short. Her favorite movie is Nightmare Before Christmas, where the main character (Jack) has a dog named Zero. It fits him well, I think. Normally his hair is super long (like a pom), but we keep it cut short. Otherwise, snow clings to it in the winter and he gets soooooo hot in the summer. He's such a happy and sweet little bugger! His favorite thing in the whole wide world is running through and playing in snow. Good thing we live in Wisconsin.

Awww! He looks like he would feel silky-soft. I adore The Nightmare Before Christmas, have you been on The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland around Christmastime? If I can I always go see Zero there!

He really strongly reminds me of a sheltie. Perhaps down the line he somehow got sheltie genes in him? Not sure how that size diff works but I've heard of weirder combos. He is super cute and I love the name.
