Sorry I didn't post - I thought I already responded.
How much are they eating now? How thick is the soup?

Okay, I want you to try putting some slices of meat into the paste mix. Make them long (1/2 - 1 inch) and skinny. See if they eat them or if they refuse.

Next time, try smashing the bones with a hammer or mallet to make the bones easier to chew.
How are their stools looking? What proteins are they eating? How big are the chunks?

okay so due to princess's death, i though about stopping the training, but when i tried to feed max ferret food, he wouldn't eat it so i guess we are going to go all the way!! he loves his chicken! his stools are normal, he eats gizzards and hearts and the chunks are still the same size, but im going to make his next meal with bigger chunks

I am so sorry about your loss. I'm glad you're going to stick with this.
So what other proteins are available to you? You need to have at least 3 incorporated into the diet (for example, chicken, beef, pork). But more is always better! Pork is usually a good meat to try, because it's similar to chicken. You also want to try to get more bone variety, by feeding bones from different parts and different animals (like chicken ribs, wings, necks and then cornish game hen ribs, wings, and necks). Does that make sense?

OMG!! so i was running late for school and didnt have time to give max his chunks, so i took a chicken eing and hammered it so that the bones would crush and put it in his food bowl, when i came back from school, i noticed that he ate everything!!he made me so proud as for protein, im thinking chicken beef and pork, because they are easy to get a hold of.

Yay! Go Max! I would make sure he didn't stash the chicken wing anywhere, and that he actually ate it.
That sounds like a good mix. You'll also need to get some heart meat and some organ meat (liver and one other organ, like kidney, spleen, brain. etc). Do you know if you can get those?

oh yes, at first I thought he stashed the rest so I spend a good 5 mins looking for it, all I found were a few stray bones . plus I gave him another one yesterday and today and he eats everything! right now, all I have is chicken giblets which he loves! but I will get some hearts and liver soon!

Ok that's great! And definitely get the hearts and liver as soon as you can. You might need to make soup for those - the flavor is very powerful. I would also check out your stores and see if they carry Cornish game hen - they are awesome little birds and my kids LOVE them. They are great to add in once or twice a week for a change from chicken
