MY iguana is showing signs of being gravid (eggs) so I had to make her a nesting box. Apparently Home Depot doesn't believe in SMALL containers. So after making her egg-laying box I had TONS left over. I got organic peat moss and play sand. So I decided, why not put it to use? I tossed out all of the shredded paper (which bc it is so staticky, gets EVERYWHERE) and replaced it with the peat moss/sand. (And I STILL have a TON of peat moss left. Way more than I could ever use for my flowers lol not sure what I will do with it yet). Anyways, the boys LOVE it. Kenai spent like half an hour or more after this video just digging. AND they seem to be leaving the carpet alone! What a miracle! We will see how long that lasts. Anyways, the mess is really not too bad, a quick vacuum will clean it up no problem. Way better than shredded paper, and they like it more that the rice!
