So since he wont eat liver, heart, kidney or lung I am going to give up and just give him canned and a small amount of kibble (canned is expensive) but since he still eats chicken, beef, game hen etc how much raw can he have? Will it cause problems to feed 25% raw and 75% canned/kibble? Can he have more raw without throwing everything out of balance or does he have to have less? He changes his mind all the time about what he will and will not eat. I'm sure in a month or so he will start eating organs again and I can go back to raw until he refuses again.

I just blended some liver with canned and he ate half of it so far! I'm sure if I blend canned with heart he will eat it. If not I can supplement with taurine right? That leaves kidney and/or lung. I doubt he will eat kidney mixed with canned but maybe lung.

Thats great! Do you mix in a little water too? You can mix the organs with raw muscle meat to all blended. Make sure to cut meat into small pieces.

Why would you stop feeding raw just because you can't get him to eat organ meats on their own. Most of my guys won't eat their organ meats singly....it has to be mixed with their meat. My guys get their organ meats and hearts ground up and mixed with their meat meal. I mix it up as a soupy and every day they get some. I also add taurine supplements too. ciao

It can also just take some time to get them back on it again. You can also supplement with commercial raw.

He finished his food. It was around half liver half canned. I used canned because he loves that stuff. If I mix it with muscle meat he will be less likely to eat it. Its also easier to blend canned than it is to blend muscle meat. Even if I mix it with canned he would only be getting maybe 4-6oz of canned a week. The rest could be raw. Now hopefully he wont stop eating the blended stuff.
