My ferrets (especially Tomichi, my alpha girl) have been panicking, stressing, out and grieving (Tomichi is even biting) with. the loss of their "baby" brother. Here's the treatment plan my holistic vet came up with.
It's helping A LOT - the stress poops have really cleared up with that GI support formula, which I hear works well for IBD in ferrets and cats.
If you're interested in learning about some of the products listed below, you may be able to find them on my holistic/integrative vet's website, which contains a lot of good information.
I know a lot of people are turned off by the selling of product online. Fair Warning: this vet does NOT jack up the prices and sell things online to make money. He offers phone consultations and works with people who need help with their animals. Good holistic vets can be very difficult to find. If you read his bio and cirriculum vitae on his website, you'll find he has been very involved in the vet community - he was voted holistic vet of the year in 2000 by the AHVMA. He is a well-known, highly regarded professional with a LOT of impressive credentials in both the traditional and alternative medicine. He is a truly a good person who puts his clients and their animals first! Many of you do NOT know this, but you have already benefited GREATLY from Dr. Dave's knowledge through information I share on this site.
Now, here is the website:
