So I decided to try raw for the first time today. Cut up some chicken gizzards, hearts and mixed it with a raw egg and some kibble mush. I also supplied a small bowl of chicken wing parts coating in ground kibble.
I removed their kibble this morning at 9 am so they should be hungry.
One seemed interested and is actively licking the pieces I held. Seeing that as a good sign I put her down with the bowls. She took the piece of heart out of my fingers and ran off and stashed it under the dresser, came back grabbed a chicken wing piece and promptly stashed in in the wall mounted tunnels (facepalm, sigh). I tried to provide a small cardboard box as a feeding den but she was totally uninsterested in it.
I then put the bowls and the ferrets in the cage and shut it up to avoid hard to reach stashes. As the title states, is the one who is stashing sufficiently interested to eat what she is stashing or am I going to have to fish it out of the tunnels?

She's shown she likes it, but she doesn't quite recognize it as a food item yet. Since they haven't eaten the bits, try making a raw puree and finger feeding them.
