Which Lucrezia was NOT very fond of Watson would "hide" in the waste basket, and bop the ferrets when they came near ;D

Lol I love his "hiding". Cats never seem to realize when their butt/tail is hanging out

I never heard that term"flat ferreting" but I notice my ferrets do it near my cats all the time. It tugs at my heart when I see it- I think they are humbling themselves to the cat trying desperately to win the cats' affection--to show them they are no threat to the cats. I like the term for it! Am I right in my interpretation?

Personal experience? They'll flat ferret when they are surprised and don't understand, like Lucrezia did in the video. Or just before a sneak attack They'll lay there watching, and as soon as the cat turns his back, they jump They also flat ferret as a way of resting for a moment or two before carrying on.

I also call it sulking or the speed bump...if Mokkun hears us getting ready to leave or prepping food he'll beg and beg to get involved, but if we ignore him he sulks and sighs big ferret sighs in the middle of our path so we know how tortured his life is .

He's a cat. I think by nature they aren't allowed to feel guilty
