Thérèse, thanks so much for the story, thats the thing with Chloe is I don't like her eating kibble, and since I got her I didn't want her eating kibble either but I just didn't know how to put her on a raw diet, and I was online one day and a girl told me to check out this forum and sign up for a mentor. After my final exams are over and I have moved into my new apartment, I'll start Chloe on it, she'll be a year old only but at least the raw diet may help her in the long run. I think the reason for all theses illnesses in ferrets starts with what they are eating. Thanks everyone for all the advise too!

If she likes canned food, try the chicken baby food like suggested, I used canned cat food for soupies and to switch mine, I always had it on hand for my cat and I used grain free only stuff, Evo chicken/turkey, Before Grain's various flavors of 95% meat, etc. I didn't have a blender to make a proper soup and this was much easier anyways for my b/f to deal with for sick ferrets, plus cheaper and better for them than any baby food I could find. I just added in tiny bits of ground meat, worked my way up to chunks and got rid of the canned food completely in the end. It was pretty easy since they all already loved the canned food.
