My fiance greatly enjoys grabbing it when someone is half way through and putting the two ends together so it's just a continous loop, they go NUTS trying to find the exit haha. LOL, my nephew used to do this, but my ferrets figured it out very quickly and would just stop where the 2 ends were stuck together, and claw at the ends, trying to get them apart. Then I made him stop because it just seemed cruel to trap them in there. We actually disagree quite often about whether certain types of play are fun or just mean. I tend to err on the side of not wanting to risk being cruel, whereas he tends to think ferrets enjoy extreme teasing Too bad you can't ask the ferret if they are still having fun! My rule of thumb is, when the play turns into forcing them to do something, it's probably not fun for them any more. But I recently learned I was not playing rough enough with my boy Fenton: I started wrestling with him more, and chasing him around and tossing him and stuff, and he would dook and war-dance around and come back for more, so apparently Fenton likes to play rougher than I thought he did Guess mine aren't so smart They'll stop where the end is, look at it for a second...run around a couple more times....scratch a bit...run around a couple more times. I have a feeling they could do this forever, but I also think it's a bit cruel to trap them in there for too long and make him stop. Me and my fiance disagree about playing a lot too. He tends to be really rough, and teasing...and I think they are far more delicate than they really are. Ugh. Don't get me STARTED on water. They HATE baths [not that they get a lot of them or anything] and furiously try to get out [my arm is a GREAT ramp apparently] But they can go straight from the bath, to digging and snorkeling in the water bowl. Guess they only like water on their terms haha.

They ARE very delicate. It's not uncommon for them to break a leg when it gets stuck, or to damage a spine with a fall from a shelf in the cage.

Yes but not in the sense of playing rough, he's not dropping them on the floor or getting them stuck anywhere.

No, I just used those as examples Too rough of a "roughhousing" could result in injury as well if not careful. For example, because of the length of their spine, while holding them, their bottoms should always be supported in case they start to twist, or even if they are larger ferrets. It can put a lot of pressure on them.

I go into their toy stash, pick up all their toys, dump them in a box and put the fuzz in the box. They then become frantic, trying to figure out which toy to put away first Ferret bowling is also fun.. I have wood floors so they slide easily.. Dexy especially loves that I also sometimes take their see-thru plastic tunnel and tie strings around it, then tie the strings to the banister of the stairs. Then I place them at the top and they hop in the tube and slide down. Trinity and Meeko are a little unsure of climbing or descending stairs so I pick them up and take them back up to the top. Not only is it fun but we all get some exercise!

I love that first one Katirhi ;D I do something similar on cleaning day, but you should see them as I pull everything out while they watch frantically from the cage ;D

I take the junk mail magazines I get and remove the staples. I crinkle the sheets up and put them in and around a cardboard box. Artie attacks the papers. Then I scratch around on the outside and we have fun chasing each other around the box.
Tag is fun too. I chase him to one of his hidey holes and when he attacks I run away and he chases me. He has such a goofy, happy smile on his face when he chases me.
Laundry is fun too. He inspects (crawls in and under) the clothes as I sort them. When they come back from the dryer, he makes a point of inspecting them again. This usually results in a game of wrestling and tag.
We wrestle skin on teeth or fabric on teeth, depending on how tough I am feeling.
