What have you got so far? There is nothing out there that isn't anecdotal. There are no studies, no statistics....nothing. The long arm of big corporate business is long. So that brings to what can you offer them that will refute this article (it's too bad they don't use spell check when they write this stuff, not that I can spell but I'm not a journalist). What are some of your key points, maybe we can help you from there ciao

I was going to refute the myths about raw diet like.....
It doesn't clean their teeth it makes them bloodthirsty its not balanced they get sick from parasites and salmonella vets know best Dogs are omnivores Dogs are too far removed from wolves to be fed a raw diet Dogs have adapted to cooked diets bones are a risk to feed raw meat cant be digested In this I would talk about all the benefits.... less smell,poop,illnesses,ect.ect.
Then I was going to explain how dog food is cooked twice. which lowers the nutritional value wayyyyyy down. How they put dead dying sick animals into their dogs food. That they add plant protean to up the crude protein levels and dogs cant digest that kind of protean. Pulse I want to talk about skull stricter of carnivore compered to omnivores and herbivores. This will include teeth of cores. I am doing a power point so I will add Picture of animals on raw and kibble And pictures of teeth.
Then I was going to end the speech with how to read a dog food bag. I would then say if you have quite a few dogs It might become cheaper to feed them raw then give them a high quality kibble.
That's what I got any more Ideas?

Something mentioned a couple times in the article link was saying that Raw feeders claim that dogs digest bacteria like e.coli and that's not true. e.coli and salmonella are already present in the environment and within the dog. What is known is that it takes 6 to 8 hours for these bacteria to set up toxic colonies and the carnivore's digestive tract works faster than that!
As for studies about raw that goes to eons of evolution. Eons of carnivores thriving on whole prey. Carrion and raw meat as compared.to a hundred or so years of kibble concoctions. Kibble studies only have to keep the test subject alive for 6 months!
As for bacterial dangers to humans; a simple google search will show contamination issues caused from kibble. Vets are under written and sponsored and subsidized by kibble manufacturers. Whole prey and raw sources simply go to the carnivore.
Why do I need a study to approve the diet my carnivore evolved to eat? Or better yet... Answer me why the kibble mfrs go to such great lengths to convince me their crap in a bag is safe and nutritious?
Why does kibble need flavor enhancers, artificial colors and flavoring added? Why do mfrs add sweeteners to addict the animals? Why do kibble mfrs try to say their product is as good as nature intended? When nature intended my carnivore to sink its teeth into a raw meaty bone or whole prey?
Why is it that every last carnivore converted from kibble to raw shows an undeniable improvement in coat, muscle tone, oral health and even psychological health? Could it be that they are getting whAt suits them best in a form they are intended to deal with?
Raw power is awesome!
