Hello dear members of the holistic forum. I am honored to say I am proud to have a new baby ferret in my life, still haven’t decide for a name since I’m trying different Ones to see which he likes. He is six months old and I want to start right away raw feeding him, with Atsui I was still learning and he was in a precarious situation. Can I start with the franken soup or with big chunks?? I’ve read all sorts of things people did, but I would like to now what would be the best for my infant. Thanks again for all your time and help you gave me when Atsui was at my side. I want to be the best mom for his new family member.

Yes, the soupie and small pieces of chunk would be fine. You might can skip the soupie if he will eat a chunk. If he eats a chunk then try a meaty bone.
If he rejects the chunks, then go to slivers--like little fingernail size--or smaller if you like. My 1.5 year old at the time would lick all the soupie off the slivers even. To remedy that,I would pat the slivers with a little soupie and she had to get them to get some soupie.
Let us know how it goes.
