Heart is actually a muscle meat As are gizzards from birds. Whether or not you have to feed organs depends on how often you feed the commercial raw. I feed 7 meals a week, and supplement liver and kidney, 1/2 servings, once a week. I also feed one heart meal a week. You can tell if they are getting too much organ by their stools. If they start to become too loose then you are either feeding too much organ, or not enough bone And eggshell, while it is basically pure calcium, lacks the trace nutrients they get from other natural bone sources. But the eggs as a supplement? Certainly! The average is no more than a large chicken egg per ferret per week, so about how ever many quail eggs that works out to be. Sorry- no idea as to the size

Button quails are smaller than other quails. This is like a regular kitchen bowl, full of my button quails eggs lol they are prolific egg layers, but never sit on them I think I am going to go sign up for the mentoring program now! Wish me and flower luck!!
