Hm, that's strange. I was recommended that brand here. Maybe they changed the formula recently. This one was also recommended to be www.seapet.com/ - doesn't seem to contain anything besides vitamin E and oil.

hooligan started eating with ever one else the morning. But he also started mounting Edward and dragging her. Should I look into getting him implants. If so what kind should I get. I would like some links about the implants and adrenal If you could give me some good ones

That's great about the eating, but sounds like adrenal to me You have a couple options. You can either go for lupron shots (monthly) or a deslorelin 4.7 mg implant. The implant has to be ordered from Australia and might still be on backorder. It generally lasts about 6 months. You can contact Rosie Warren for more info on it (rwarren@peptech.com). You can also treat with a melatonin implant (those this doesn't work in the same way as lupron or deslorelin). It more treats the symptoms than the problem. Check out the Health and medical section here for more info. Or you can make a thread (or ask me ) if you have any other questions. Good summary www.ferret.org/pdfs/health/Adrenal_Disease_Comprehensive_with_Medical_Therapy.pdf

I cant open the link you sent. I don't know that it would be so easy for me to try and get the deslorelin implant. I will ask my vet. I was wondering can you use the lupron and melatonin together? I heard that lupron doesn't always work or it will work for months and stop working. Is that true? I expected hooligan to get adrenal. The lady we got him from had another ferret with it that she put down. I just guesses most likely it was the food she fed but I don't know. It really is common anyway even people that feed raw get ferrets with adrenal. Its cancer right So its likely it could be predisposed genetically?

You'll need adobe acrobat PDF reader to view it. Yes melatonin implants can be used with lupron shots. Lupron is usually effective in the beginning. There is definitely a possible genetic link to adrenal disease

Ok so supper good news. hooligan is eating bones now! He used to have like green looking tarter build up on his back molars but now he only has a little bit left. On the side he chews most on the tarter is all gone. His teeth look so good!
Everyone's poop looks so much better. Its a normal brown color and more solid looking but not hard.
Edward is the first one to get in her winter coat and omg it feels so flipping good!! I just love to pet her now but when I over do it she looks up at me like umm mom can I go play now your being a weirdo. lol Igor's fur is supper awesome too its just not really big and fluffy yet like Edward but it will be when it gets colder. Jets fur is still kind of dull and short but I don't know when he will blow his first coat should it be now or this spring? Hooligans fur never really changes but it is shiner and softer then it used to be but it seem to be thinner then everyone else.

I will make you a menu of this week it will just be a normal week of what i give the most of the time. Monday was bone in chicken wings with squash and oil. I found cow tung and can get unbleached tripe should i buy it. right now they are only getting gizzard and liver for their organs should i be trying to find more organs. just a refresher what did you say about liver is it 2 oz. every ferret or per soup? I most likely give less then I should. I am just scared to over do it.
