Ok so I cant take pictures of the jelly poop but I will take pictures of what it looks like now. It went a little lighter I have no Idea why but you will see. I will keep checking If when I feed something the poop gets jelly like again.

Hi Jackie how are you? Sorry life has been a bit out of hand but I am happy to say I am back. Igor Jet and Edward I feel are switched. They are eating 5 different proteins bones and organ. I am still giving them fish oil and squash everyday.
hooligan is eating chicken from the bone when he is hungry. He eats really chunky soups with skin and meat chunks everyday still. He will chew some chunks and just swallow others. He still doesn't really like eating it but he will.
poop is still a bit off but I need to find the cord to my camera to up loud pictures I took last night.
I am sorry to waist your time or the time of others waiting for a mentor. It really wasn't my intent. My life has been off the wall but I am still committed to the switch.

Hey welcome back No need to apologize - I completely understand. Okay so what 5 meats the others eating? A weekly menu for them would be great (just to make sure everything is balanced). As for Hooligan, try cutting the pieces into long slivers. Like 1-2 inches long, and as skinny as you can. Maybe put something yummy like oil or soup on the end and hold it over his head and see if he'll take it. You can also scruff him gently and see if he'll eat it.

They get turkey ,beef, Cornish hen, chicken, lamb, pork. They don't get lamb as much just because its a little costly sometimes. I find that they waist less if I feed them once a day. I can still feed the twice a day If I need to. What do you recommend? Can I still keep everything balanced that way? I tend to give them more bone in meats when I feed them once a day. Just because I am scared they are not getting all the calcium they need.
They get three out of the six meats in a week and it gets switch the next week.

When you're feeding once a day, are they eating everything in one sitting, or is there left overs for a while.
Feeding once a day is okay (unless you've got an insulinomic baby), but you have to be careful about the meat spoiling. Soup goes bad after 4-6 hours, whole chunks maybe 12-16 hours, and whole prey can last 24+ hours.

When I feed soup they eat it all in about 4 to 6 hours and I give fresh meat in the morning. When I give bone in meat or boneless meat I replace it everyday. I feed at night and the meat is gone about the time I feed them again. I don't leave meat in the cage more then 16 hours.

LOL thanks so much Jackie! I didn't go crazy although I would have like too. lol Me and the hubby just shared a bottle of wine. It was really nice. I got to go on a shopping spree. we almost got a chinchilla but we need to do more research and find a good breeder. We need to see if they are a right match for our family. So maybe in a year or two. lol

I am having the hardest time getting them to eat ground anything. I got some ground lamb and they wont touch the stuff.
Hooligan will eat chunks from the bone but not from my hands its very annoying. I just want to be sure he is getting all the food he needs. I am not home all day to see what he is eating.
