Oh dear, I'm trying not to panic as it's 9pm but something doesn't seem right with my little girl.
We had a big snowstorm two nights ago and I noticed she had green poop in her litterbox. It was still formed but dark green. Other than that she was acting normal. I syringed her some water just in case, although I scruffed her and she didn't appear to be dehydrated. She had a poop before I put her to bed and it was back to a more normal colour, so I wasn't too worried.
Yesterday she was fine, and her poops were back to a normal colour/consistency. Well today was my long work day, and I just got home after a 12 hour day to take her out for play time.
I checked her litterbox and her poop was extremely running. More liquidy than the other day and she just went again and it was basically a liquid but a light brown. The thing that really alarmed me was that when I first woke her up for playtime she didn't seem too much like playing she just wanted to lay on me and when she did walk around she was kind of shuffing/dragging her back end. Dragging is too severe of a word, but she was shuffling more than just normal walking. it was more pronounced when she first got up, it's less noticeable now. But she's definitely still doing it, it seems more like one leg than the other.
Shes also trembling a bit when she stops playing. she just wants to lay on me
So should I be concerned? I'm not sure if I'm getting panicy because I'm a new ferret mom or what, but she doesn't seem herself. I've been trying to switch her to EVO from the stuff her previous owner was giving her, but i've been mixing it half and half. Sh'es 7 months old and is a RC ferret to the best of my knowledge. She stays in a 2 story FN cage with no other ferrets, and it's in my basement but it's a finished basement and not drafty or near any vents.
