They are very big! if you go to a craft store, they usually have fleece for cheap this time of year! you can just buy about 6 feet of fleece, or different kinds and cut it to fit the shelves:) that is what we did with our "ferret nation" copy cat cage;)

Which cage did you get?? Is it the same size as the ferret nation? I'm looking for something a little less deep to fit in the space I have.
Another question: do the furkids make loads of noise on a night?? I was thinking of having them in my bedroom.. Is that a bad Idea?? X

The first cage that you posted looked just like it but mine is smaller ( just by a bit) and has smaller shelves only for the ladder to go on. It is a bit more of a pain then a ferret nation to clean...
They only really make noise if they REALLY want out of their cage. if they are out of food, water or want their litter cleaned. have you had them in a cage before? if they are not used to being contained they might also make noise. but it has only been a problem for me for a few days a month:)

They are in the garden at the moment in a large chicken coop... So they are used to being confined but in a very lange cage...
Still deciding if to get the cage... I need to create some space first x

They will also play at night, so if you are a light sleeper they may keep you awake. And since sleeping in the bedroom at night will be "new", bet on them playing for a few nights anyway We had Frodo roaming the bedroom at night for a month and a half until we got the add on for the NF, simply because he was too large for the isolation cage. He really was a very well behaved ferret there, but he would go through his tubes, ping pong ball box, and play with his jingle ball toys every night from around 2am til about 4am ;D

I don't like any of their cages except the first which is the same as the one in the Amazon link. most of the people who make ferret nation bedding also take custom orders for other cages. Just contact them with the cage measurements.

Hey claire.. the Explorer is the UK fav cage at the moment.. everyone raves about the cleaning ease.. the only other US suitable sized indoor cage is the Furet Tower.. ok to clean if you're not too big so can fit through the door lol and the Tommy T3 ...
