That's fine you can also rinse the unused chunks off, baggie them, and reuse them for the next meal, as well.

Thank you . That will definitely help with the extra pieces. I am also having to give them a little more pumpkin at their meal times. It is shedding time and I don't want to have to deal with a blockage. I am giving them about 1 tsp a day. Is that enough or do I need to give them more?

In shedding season, you can give them about tsp/meal, just to cover your bases

Hey thanks. They will love me even more for that one. I usually just feed it to them off of the spoon and they hiss at one another when they think it is almost gone. Silly girls. They think they are getting spoiled when I feed them pumpkin. Thats ok. It is good for them and it keeps me in good standing with them. .

LOL, well, hey, it's always great when they enjoy something that's really and truly GOOD for them! Four of mine adore pumpkin as well, but the other two think it's poison unless it's suitably drowned in meat baby food
