He passed away lastnight There wasnt any indication that yesterday was any different than the past month. He fought hard, I'm so heart broken. We fed him and I gave him a kiss before I left for work lastnight and I came home to find out he died shortly after I left. My gentle giant, my sweet sam I'll miss you so much

Oh, Sammy...you fought so hard. Are you romping the long road with Polar Bear? Are the two of you making big trouble for all those sweet things at the bridge? I will light a candle for your sweet Sam. Run free wee one, there is no pain or fear where you now tread. Let the candle light your way, may you find many new exciting adventures along your way on this next journey. I will also light a healing candle, the battle was well fought, you did not loose. No one can loose, when such a gift of gentle companionship is treasured. As the candle burns away, let the light shine on your memories and burn away your grief. Sam would never have wanted you to remember him this way, in his sickness but to remember happier times, gentle kisses and warm snuggles. Gentle journey little one, Goodbye, sweet Sam ciao

No he wasnt an albino, we adopted him and his 6 brothers and sisters from the evansville humane society almost a year ago exactly. I don't know his exact color but I'm sure he was probably silver as a baby. He was only 4 years old. He had been such a big part of my everyday routine since he got sick. Every 4 hours we had to feed him, give him medication, cuddle him, weigh him everyday. I keep thinking, Is it time to feed Sam yet? Then I remember hes gone. We put him through so much, giving him so many medications to try and help... we went to the vet every week. I tell myself I couldnt have done anything else, but I should have seen he was sick sooner. I knew he was having funky stools, they werent all the time but I should have known better. It's just not fair Thank you for all your kind words, I know hes free of pain now atleast.

I know how it is not fair, as you know with me and William, him dieing in my arms after he started to come back to life. going from being so cold and purple , 1 breath per minute. To going Light purple, still cold but not as cold, and 10 breaths per minute half being deep like he wanted to live

I am so sorry for your loss, hun. Sam understands that you did a great job as a furmom and with these things, there wasn't anything more you could have done. Some of these horrific illnesses are impossible to stave off. Dook in peace baby boy. My little ones and I will be thinking of you and your missed little boy.
