Giving Chucky 3 different kinds of medication again stomach problems. He was supposed to have it twice a day for 21 days, but it did not help and the treatment stopped after 14 days.
He got afraid of me after a while. Shaking and running away when i was in the area.
The video was taken in the first days, so he is behaving nice after all:

Wow, he behaved very well. When I was giving Pixie meds, she would squirm, gag, twist, and basically act like I was poisoning her  Great video! |

Wow Chucky is one big fert. Funny! He just have a lot of fur. Actually he is a bit small of a normal danish ferret. |

I'm sorry to say this, but that is not a good way to give meds. If it's pointed toward the back of the mouth, they can aspirate very easily. He was well behaved for you, but for a ferret who's likely to twist, etc, they may wind up choking on the meds.

agreed, sherry- when giving vienna medicine she doesn't care for, she twists and gags and tries to wriggle out of my hands as much as possible! i point the tip at the side of her mouth ONLY and don't really put any of the length in. that way, she's still automatically licking but i don't have to worry that the liquid is going to "go down the wrong pipe."
