They're adorable! The yellowing comes from excess oils in the fur, a lot of times it gets worse with all the hormonal/shedding changes in the spring...do you know if he was this yellow last spring, if he's old enough? I think a bath might make it worse though since soaps tend to dry out the skin and make them produce more oil...then again maybe he's producing so much anyway he won't end up dried out. If you try it, remember to use something super-gentle like baby or ferret shampoo. Or you could let him play in a dig box full of rice, that seems to help absorb some of the oils and smells from my kids. I think the orange-y coloring's actually kind of pretty .

I'll post before & after pics, thank you very much ! Thank you Jackie ! & Heather, thank you, Yoyo is 8 months & Slinky is a year ;D

The rice dig box makes a WORLD of difference. My last box that I dumped not long ago was actually about the colour of Slinky when I took it out

Now, I'm looking closely at your little boys. That colour of the one boy is very definitely a hob coming into season. You can bath them more often, they're going to have more oil that you know what to do with. Is the whiter of the two the younger one? A rice box is a fantastic idea, you will have to change it out about once a month (just going by what I remember of Odin). I also found that play sand worked really well too, even paper from the paper shredder. Anything to cut down on the amount of oils produced. It helps keep the hobbish odor down. They have a tendency to rub themselves on everything...leaving a lingering odor A raw diet also helps. You may have to be prepared to separate your boys too. They may get along ok, Odin got along with everyone but that's not always the case. Season lasts from now (this year, last year was closer to March) to around Sept last year...maybe they won't hang on to the cause as long this year ciao
