Yup, normally everyone is free fed so this is a big change especially for Coco. She doesn't eat much, though, and hasn't had anything since a bit of kibble this morning. Hopefully she'll feel like eating some wet and/or raw tonight. All the ferrets keep going over to the wet to smell it and then walking away and looking for kibbles. They're all just sleeping now, though, so that's good.

It was insane when we first stopped free feeding our cats They almost drove us nuts following us around, squawking non stop But, they did finally get used to it. Now, they just start getting antsy when it's nearing their mealtimes

The only one consistently eating the raw is Precious, the 16 year old. Everyone else is pretty much refusing. auuugh!

I didn't read this whole post so forgive me if I'm repeating. For my 3 (2 boys and a girl) I feed 8 oz a day give or take (4oz at each meal). I've found this is about the right amount to have a little leftover (for snacking) but not a ton of meat going bad stashed in a corner. In the fall when they're putting on the winter chub, I up it to about 6 oz per meal. Basically I just eyeball how much meat is getting stashed. I try to make it so that only a "snack" sized amount gets stashed.
