#1 if everyone hasn't heard yet, Natura Food (who makes EVO, California Natural, Innova, etc) is getting sued. www.topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/1271-natura-pet-products-class-action-settlement-#2 during the move we couldn't get our deep freezer up and running fast enough to go out and get more raw meat sources so they've been eating Wysong ferret Epigen instead. They really liked it. They apparently liked it so much that they have been pooping up a storm. A GIANT POOP STORM Normally between their three big litter boxes I only have to scoop once a day. Now, I'm scooping four times a day. So, for anyone that doubts the powers of raw feeding, you must REALLY love to scoop our your litter boxes endlessly throughout the day. I personally have better things to do!

Haha, gotta love the advantages of raw I have one in-cage box that I usually scoop 2x a day, but more because I have spoiled ferrets, not out of necessity. I've fogotten the night scoop before and it is not that bad. The boxes outside the cage get scooped once a day or every other day, depending on how much they get used Just curious, how do you like the Epigen? Are you using the original formula or the new Epigen 90 version? I know a lot of people are considering switching to it from other kibbles (like EVO) and are wondering what it's like. Are the stools very smelly? Sorry for all the questions, I have considered getting some JUST as an emergency or maybe use them as treats.

Yes, but if it's only for "emergencies", you'd only give it maybe every couple of weeks?

Oh man, I dunno about you guys but after going raw, I forgot how much kibble and the ferrets, cages, and litterboxes used with it stink! When you smell it, it all comes back to you...

The poop difference is NIGHT and DAY. I was thinking of getting a bag of the wysong ferret Epigen 90 for emergency soupies but I'm on the fence. I guess i'd just keep it in the freezer or something. IDK still undecided.
