Lily vomitted today. I am just wondering if this could be because she ate kibble and then ate raw shortly after? I didn't know she ate the kibble. But I am pretty sure she did now. I heard her munching kibble that she dumped out on the floor the other day, and I guess I didn't sweep all of it up.

It's definitely a possibility. I'd monitor her closely for the next 24 hours and see if she is eating/drinking/pooping normally.

It could well be that. It could also be that she ate too quickly. Like Jackie mentioned, just keep an eye on her.

You've been given good advice. Is she lethargic? Stopped eating? Stress can be a contributing factor too. How is she now? ciao

She seems good this morning. She found a piece of milkbone and gobbled that down. Her soupie is thawing as I type. I think she ate too fast last night.

It happens sometimes. As long as she continues to eat and drink normally, and passes stool fine, there should be nothing to worry about.
My Trixie eats her mush too fast and always scares me with her weird sounds.

Never fails to amaze me that while we have to coax, wheedle, beguile, and even trick them into eating meat, they'll find something like a milkbone bit, and gobble it up with no hesitation, before you can even grab them to stop them

I'm glad to hear that she's seems to be back to herself this am. One of the things that astounds me with the raw fed brats is that they can occasionally vomit with no ill effects. I know have got that I will observe. If it persists or there are accompanying factors then I will move on it... fast (they dehydrate so fast) but throwing up a meal with no accompanying symptoms (lethargy, dry retching, loose stools) I just keep a close eye on ciao

That's Lily for ya. Any opportunity to eat dog food. But she ate her soupie good today. She is acting like herself too.
