coccidia...fun! I've never treated ferrets for it but have treated rabbits, cats and dogs....so I'm assuming the vet gave you albone? You will need to bleach everything, litter boxes, cage, food and water bowls and wash all bedding in as hot of water it can withstand... bleaching will have to be done on a regular basis for about 2 weeks, just make sure that you rinse everthing well with soap and water to get rid of any bleach residue....

My mom has always kept many cats and they have had coccida quite a few times. I think when they go outside they drink water from puddles then they spread it everywhere else. I'm glad I don't live in her house anymore bc I was always paranoid with my ferrets. Try kocci free. It is natural. It got rid of coccida in a kitten we had. It came back after we gave her meds. The kocci free worked.
