I bought plastic runners at Lowes. Since they have little nubs, I was afraid someone would try to chew them off so I use clear plastic shipping tape to secure it to the floor/wall. It works well as long as they carpet is clean first.
OMG, gwen is incredibly tiny and adorable. Neither of my girls is that tiny. Now I want a tiny one!
What's in your dig box? I have CareFresh paper litter in one but they use it to sleep instead of dig.

I've never had a problem with any of mine chewing them. The plastic is kind of hard for their teeth anyway. And thanks for the complements! Gwen and Salem are about the same size, and Evie is slightly smaller. They're all MF girls, so they tend to run small. I like larger ferrets myself(of course, I love all ferrets ). That dig box is filled with Easter grass. I got it on clearance right after Easter last year.

Morgan, your babies are all adorable, but little Miss Salem still holds a special spot for me

Thanks Sherry, Salem's always been very special to me, she was the one that started it all. Can't believe she's 7 and still going strong.

Cute fuzz. I love Bomber!
Since I know you play WoW, have you tried Rift? It's in open beta right now. Really, really fun. I've been playing WoW for 5 years and I think I might finally leave it for this game.

Thank you! I've kinda been taking an extended break from WoW, mainly because I just don't have anyone to play with me. If I had some friends who would play, I might get back into it. What is Rift? I have not heard of it. lol. Do you have to pay for it monthly like with WoW?

Yes it has a monthly fee of $14.99 same as WoW or if you get the founder's price it's like $9.99 per month. The open Beta is going on for a couple more days and it's free, you just have to make an account with Trion. And if you preorder the game you get a month of free game time. www.riftgame.com/en/beta/index.phpThe game is very similar to WoW but with better graphics (your machine doesn't have to be a beast to run it though). Basically they took WoW and tweaked it for the better. There are still two factions, The Guardians and The Defiant, and still PvP and PvE servers but they're promised the balance of classes WON'T be centered on PvP like it is in WoW. Each faction has three different races but every race can play every class. The classes work a little differently than WoW. There are four callings, Warrior, Cleric, Rogue, and Mage, and eight souls within each calling. www.riftgame.com/en/classes/index.phpIt seems confusing at first but it's really cool. You choose your calling and then unlock three souls at the beginning of the game through questing. You can eventually unlock all eight souls in your calling but only three will ever be active at a time (you can eventually have three specs to switch between at a time instead of two like in WoW and respecing is really cheap). Your three current souls are like your talent trees and you put points into each one to unlock abilities for that soul. One of the neat asepcts of the game is you can tank or heal while still dpsing. For instance last night I made a mage with elementalist and stormcaller which are both pure dps souls and for my third soul chose chronomancer. Chronomancers heal by dpsing-the more dps they and their party do, the more it heals the group. Same thing goes for tanking. You can tank with two dps souls and one tanking soul. The game is also much more customizable than WoW. Character creation is much more detailed, there are many more choices in class/spec, gear looks cooler and can be dyed pretty much any colors, companion pets give buffs and do damage in combat, companion pets, mounts, and combat pets can be customized, ect. They've already released like 15 dungeons in the beta and there will be more content when it goes live in a couple days. I've been playing with the bf and some friends as Defiant on Wolfsbane. If you'd like to play with us we'd love to have you along. The toon I play the most is named Woozel or message me on skype if you're interested in playing together. User name is Bluemoose08. If nothing else at least give it a try before the beta is over. It's completely free and it really is a good game. I'm always wary of new MMORPGs because I've seen so many of them fail but this one looks really promising. And it's very easy to play coming from WoW because the controls are all the same.

Ok that all sounds awesome and I tried signing up for the open beta but I think I have to buy the game to get it work. Is that right? Am I supposed to be invited to play beta, because I got this when I signed up: You need to be invited to play in the RIFT™ beta events. If you have applied a VIP beta code, or pre-ordered the game and applied your pre-order code, you will receive invitations to all RIFT beta events.
If you purchased RIFT directly from Trion, your account is already flagged for VIP beta access and Trion will send you a beta invitation a few days before each beta event.
Step 1: Once invited to an event, please review and agree to the EULA. Step 2: After agreeing to the terms of the EULA, you will have access to a download link for the RIFT client. You only need to download the client for your first beta event. Step 3: Launch RIFT during the beta event and get in and play!

Oh yeah it says that but you can still play. Did you download the beta client? Once you do that just open it, let it patch, and you can play. I was confused by that message too but you don't need an invite.
