Just an update, I have had him 3 nights and 2 days so far and he has gained 3 ounces, he's up to 2 lbs 11 oz now. He is so strong and seems to never get tired of playing! The main thing though that is coming out as he adjusts to his new home is his sweet personality. This little guy is sweet sweet sweet! Yes, when you hold him he wants to get down and play, but when I haven't seen him for a while he will lick my face and act happy to see me, and if he's tired from playing he will relax and lie back and enjoy the scratches and cuddles, and I have even gotten him to fall asleep in my arms already! Yay! I absolutely adore my Fenton and Fiona but they both have become very mellow and more like "lap ferrets" so it's fun to have this little hob around to spice things up! He has no shortage of personality and spark and he doesn't like to sit around, he will just go go go go! ;D ;D ;D He's so playful! Then when I want to cuddle with someone while I watch TV I have Fenton, and if I want someone to calmly pay attention and do tricks or give my arm a good grooming I have Fiona for that I have all my ferret needs covered now haha...

Kudos to you, Mike! Sounds like he's stolen your heart He has, it's crazy how attached I've gotten to him already! I think we are a good match for each other LOL... Every time I see him I can't help laughing OH and by the way, he gets along with both Fenton and Fiona, but he LOVES Fenton, those 2 boys are really bonding. Last night I took the business over to my parents' house and let them out to play and Fenton surprised me by taking the initiative and chasing Finn around and tackling him! They have great wrestling matches. Then later when they were all sleepy from playing, Finn snuggled up next to Fenton to sleep, I wish I had taken a picture! Fiona tolerates the little hyper guy but Fenton is his buddy! Finn also loves my nephew's ferrets! He had a marathon wrestling match with my nephew's boy Rosco who is very aggressive and LOVES to fight, I swear this match lasted almost 10 minutes, I couldn't believe how long they kept it up! Rosco is older and more skilled but Finn has youthful vigor and is perhaps more muscular, and it seemed like a VERY close match. Finally in the end we couldn't tell for sure who won, because both ferrets suddenly just stopped! I have seen this behavior before and it always fascinates me. There were 3 of us watching, and it looked like based on some form of communication that none of us could detect, both ferrets agreed to stop, and that was it! They just immediately stopped mid-tussle and it was over. They would NOT fight after that, at all. They just acted calm around each other like buddies after that and even cuddled. Ferrets are so interesting, how did they decide when it was over, and how did they both agree to it? Is there some kind of communication going on there? So interesting!

haha yeah I love watching them wrestle. Koda is definitely alpha ferret. For a while I couldn't tell who was boss, but now well...yeah it's obvious. I am glad Finn is fitting in so well. You should call your house Triple F Ferret Farms! ;D I am so jealous! I would love a little dark nosed breeder hob, and a DEW girl. That will probably be my next pair. Now that I know Nancy ships, and has dark nose babies.... hehehe It sounds like he is quite the sweet little boy. You know we need some more pics of Finn now right?

Yeah maybe next year if her Sophia has another litter you could get in on that! Her Sophia has a SUPER CUTE black nose, it's adorable, and one of her kits (the girl) had that perfect black nose. See momma: Baby girl: Maybe next time she will have a hob like that available?! I will try to get more pics of Finn but it's hard, he hardly ever holds still long enough to get a picture with my slow camera ;D

I had only planned on the one. Then they asked me to take his sister when she was returned recently and I "tried" to say no. She has even longer hair! Love it! I know they are mutants with more health problems, but since I adopted them I dont feel bad about having them.

OMG Finn taught himself a new "trick" today...
He usually hangs out in the middle level of the FN143 so he's about chest-level. This morning when I opened the cage doors, I was standing maybe a couple feet away from the cage, and he looked like he wanted to be picked up. I held out my hands and said "come on Finny!" and he jumped into my arms!
I tried it several times, and he kept doing it! I would open the cage doors and he would leap out onto my chest or into my arms! ;D ;D
He is such a character...
