It started a few days ago but the first couple times I thought she just had a hair in her throat or something so I didn't really think anything of it. But the cough has been persisting over the past few days and sometimes I'll even hear her wake up to cough. Other than the cough she's acting completely normal. Eating well, normal activity level, playing, ect.
Sorry it's three videos instead of one but I don't have any video editing software.

I dont have any input other then, thank you for posting the videos. I've not had a ferret with a cough, and not sure i would have thought of that sound as a cough. You are right it's more like a something in throat sound. Hope it's nothing serious.

She might just have a hair or something stuck in her throat. Have you given her any pumpkin/lax?

I can see why you'd think it's something stuck in her throat, and if she's behaving normally otherwise, it still could be. Hair can get caught at the back of the throat, and not want to move for a few days. I'd definitely keep an eye out, and if it gets worse, or she stops eating/playing, etc, get her in. I know Lucrezia gets something similar during shedding season, and it can last 2-3 weeks with her. When she starts her coughing, we give her some water by syringe, followed by oil to soothe her throat and move the fur along, followed by some lax. These three together seem to be the only way to stop it for Lucrezia.

Alright. I'm glad it doesn't appear at this time to be anything too serious.
I've have given her some pumpkin (she's the only one who actually likes it) and I'll give her some more today. She gets oil every 1-2 days. I'd actually given her some right before those videos were shot.
I'll try the water, oil, lax with Kiwi and see how she does.

I know that you likely already know this, but am going to say it anyway! Just make sure when you give the water, it goes crosswise of her mouth, so she doesn't aspirate.

I gave her water, fish/olive oil, pumpkin, and then more water tonight and she seems a bit better. She's still coughing but not as much. I'll give her the same again in the morning.

Ditto- sounds like a need for hairball remedy! - I would give a good long squirt(teaspoon size) & that should help. when i hear that sound- i know its time for a good dosing . :-)
