Usually ferrets eat more in the winter, but my two boys seem to be eating less yet not losing any weight?
Anyone else have ferrets that sleep more and eat less in winter? Maybe they just prefer to cuddle than leave their nice warm blankets to eat when it's chilly 😅
Probably nothing to be concerned over but I figured I'd ask!

Oh yeah. Ferrets don't hibernate but they may sleep more and be a bit less active, so don't worry. Mine like going out on the porch or outside when it's cold but otherwise sleep more. Today Bobo didn't get out of bed until noon. He ate soups, had a few treats and disappeared for the rest of the day. bobo by unclejoe1158, on Flickr

Ah it's great to hear that it's nothing to be worried about! Thanks for the reassurance and the adorable photo of Bobo 💖
