Hello, am new to the ferret life I have to admit I didn’t know much until he was left to me.. am trying to give this little guy the best posible.. with that being said. He is 13 weeks I think my best and easiest option is to commercially while pray grind but with that I am not sure how to or what to please I know I should start with approaching a whole week to see if he will be fine but then do I have to add anything to it or how would a week with multiple proteins look like I was wondering if I could get more guidance because everything is really confusing and I keep reading one thing and then I read something else please help!!! I was looking into the (https://www.mypetcarnivore.com) chicken, duck, rabbit, beaver.. I read The transition but I was wondering after the transition do I just order for example or form in freezing and then feed him Chicken all week Doug all week or is it one day certain ones please advise!!

Hello, and welcome. It’s important to be calm! You’re not gonna do severely wrong by your pet if you follow a weekly or daily recipe for raw, they both work out fine. Most people find it easier to offer them one item per meal so that they don’t just eat their favourite part and then stop, so most people work out a balance over the course of a week feeding frankenprey style. If you choose whole prey grinds, then the work is all done for you, they get everything they need at every meal. You should still feed a variety of different animals though, so that they get the unique nutrients available in each one. Here’s the main new to raw feeding page of this site, it has links spreading out in various directions for reading. holisticferret.com/newbie-info/raw-feeding-how-to/
