I would like to find more information and a source for Pingfords Porridge Red formula. I been reading quite a few recommendations for it. BTW, I took a big leap and stuck my toe onto the path toward feeing raw. I found some ground chicken at the grocery store. I took a small amount and placed a small amount of FerreVite on top. My wuzzels ate it up. I will only get excited if I can repeat this experiment AND if no one gets the poopies. Dianne

First, congrats on trying and suceeding with the ground chicken That's fantastic! As for the Pingsford, Kim has had a lot of personal issues come up, and is no longer making it, unfortunately. Wish she was. And on just muscle meat alone, stools will be softer and wetter by far. Next time, try adding in either 1/2 tsp powdered eggshell per 8 oz of meat, or a tsp or so of pumpkin for the same amount

easiest way is to save the shells from the eggs you use! use only uncooked shells - just rinse off and allow them to dry and then crush them up. a coffee grinder or spice mill will do the trick.

You can also use a mortar and pestle, but it's much more labour intensive Which is why I use a coffee grinder ;D
