I had to let Snowball go today. She was very old and had enjoyed quite a life. I got her back in November of 2015. The place that I got her from said that she was 3 although my vet at the time estimated her to be 4. For the most part she aged gracefully only slowing down and sleeping more. Over time she developed more age related issues and I took care of them as they came. Eventually arthritis became and issue and we began treating her for it. In time things things would grow and we would adjust treatment to deal with it. Eventually it got to the point where nothing was working. Her body was giving out and there was nothing that could be done to stop it. She still stayed her sweet self through all of it. No mutter how much her body weakened and faltered she stayed the same adorable little cutie that she always was. I don't think that I'll ever understand how these little creatures can be so amazing. Sleep peacefully Snowball.

Thank you. She and her sister were the first ferrets that I ever had. Having the both gone is quite a blow but at least they can be together now. Going through old videos and seeing her before age caught up to her has really helped.

Condolences on Snowball's passing. She had a long and happy life with you and not only graced your world with her sweet nature but also brought a little sunshine into the worlds of all of us here at Holistic Ferret. She will be missed by many but not with such heartbreak as I am sure you have felt. May the memories she left you bring you solace and comfort

I am sorry i have not been on forum to catch this sooner. I know your heart is broken and hope your memories will be one of smiles instead of tears. I wish your little one happy days with all the other babies who have passed. DIP Snowball. I always enjoyed the video clips of your ferrets, so creatively made.

I'm glad that everyone enjoyed watching her. I still have a lot of videos to go though so I can still provide more for at least for a while.
