Ooh Boy, I tried to read a lot of this at one setting and decided to take it in bits. catinfo.org/I have been adopted by three cats. One I had spayed (20 dollars at the county's low cost spay and neuter clinic). I spent 300 dollars on another to put a drainage tube in a bite wound that had a pus pocket that would not heal (thank God for care credit). The other cat I have to catch to spay. Anyway, one of the malnourished cats has gotten a tummy now, so I have decided to put them all on canned cat food. When trying to find a good low carb source I happened on the above article. This is just sections of it. catinfo.org/commercial-cat-foods/#Calculating__Percentage_of_Carbohydrates:catinfo.org/making-cat-food/

Wow what a pic! I've always fed commercial and store brand wet and dry and my cats always live 15-20 years barring disease or accident

Yes she is a pretty--a little bitey though. That's what we do. Unless we fed all dry food. These new guys (1 yo) get a little wet food morning and nite and have dry always available indoors
