I have a young male who is 1 in march and has been throwing up mostly when he's out playing, he never does it in his cage only when he is running around. I think it's cause he's eating too quick and then flopping about straight after so I haven't thought too much of it. But it's happening during every play time, I'm pretty sure it's not hairball as there's nothing in the poop and he gets egg once a week. Its starting to get concerning but his poop is normal and has no big food changes, I just want him to be the bundle of energy he usually is without him being sick. The vet is last resort as there's no ferret vets near me that are taking new clients and I have to take him derby for vets but I don't drive and go via train. Any help or advice is mist welcome.

This has come up around the board before and you’re right, it’s too much excitement right after eating. Try putting his food away for half an hour to an hour before letting him out or riling him up too much if he’s free roaming all the time. It often lessens with age as they calm down and learn their own boundaries.

That's reassuring because I've been belittled so much on ferret pages on fb that it's caused me to be paranoid, I feel like a bad ferret lady half the time.
