My Ferret has been sleeping a lot more the past two days and then yesterday he was so lethargic in my arms then he started to shake and I'm freaking out thinking that he's having a seizure I still don't know if he had one or not. His poop yesterday was a lighter brown color and had this weird gel on it, he even pooped on my bed! My mom thinks I should just let whatever is in him to let it run its course but I think its the cause of these treats I gave him from this brand I'd never heard of, big mistake right there. The thing is I gave him that treat I think last week and now its giving him trouble? I don't know what to do, I've done a ton of research and I can't figure out whats wrong. I don't think he's eaten either, his bowl is still full, I filled it yesterday, he's just been sleeping. Ya know on one hand it could just be winter time and that's why or something much worse, please help me figure this out.

I would advise that you take your ferret to the vet immediately, as in today. Since he is lethargic and not eating, it is definitely an emergency situation. Letting anything run its course is always a bad idea when it comes to ferrets, as they tend to go downhill *fast*. I can assure you that the treat you gave him a week ago isn't what is causing the problem, but there is definitely something going on, so please take him to a vet right away.

Also, please syringe-feed him some baby food (one of the meat formulas) and water. Keeping him hydrated is of the utmost importance.

As Brittanyb has said, best to get him to the vets asap to be sure.
Please let us know how you get on.
