R you having trouble getting a picture here?
Figured out how to do Postimage which is the reason for the above pic. So once you see the thumbnail of the picture that you have brought up from ur computer, click on the phrase beside the Hotlink for forums at the Postimage site. Copy the phrase. Now paste the phrase in the message area here. Once you hit the forum's Post Quick Reply it should show pic of your ferret. Hope this helps. That is if u r needing help:)
This was from crazylady's old post on how much to feed kits. She is a breeder.
Hi if you are feeding only grind to start off with I would simply give him a wing with one of his meals ( I normally feed my kits 4 x a day ) how much is simply how much will he eat in one sitting lol ( around 2-4 ounces ) males tend to be greedier than females

This is the frankenprey meal plan schedule for adults. I think it would be ok to follow that but keep the liver and organs to one and half times a week. After you have went thru the frankenprey meal plan, rotate between muscle and bone meals for the rest of the week.
Sun AM: organ meal (½ liver, ½ other organ) o Sun PM: edible bone-in meat b
Mon AM: edible bone-in meat (or muscle) b or m Mon PM: edible bone-in meat b
Tues AM: heart h Tues PM: edible bone-in meat b
Wed AM: muscle meat m Wed PM: edible bone-in meat b
Thur AM: heart and organ (½ liver, ½ other organ) h and o Thur PM: edible bone-in meat b
Fri AM: edible bone-in meat (or muscle) b or m Fri PM: edible bone-in meat b
Sat AM: muscle meat m Sat PM: edible bone-in meat b
You can do up to 2, sometimes 3 bone meals in succession. But when you give organs, and muscles and hearts--- which is also a muscle--- you want to give a bone meal next. This is to keep them from having diarrhea or too soft a stool. If their stool is chalky or real boney or dry, give a muscle meal next. See how the bone in meal is after the hearts, muscles, and organs meals. h=heart meal o=organ meal m= muscle

Try to come up with 4 varieties of meats --- at the least 3. You can then submit it here for a review if you like. Also, if you want to do a mix of whole prey, the forum has a special chart which I can show you.
1. organ meal (½ liver, ½ other organ) 2. edible bone-in meat 3. edible bone-in meat 4. edible bone-in meat
1. heart 2. edible bone-in meat 3. muscle meat 4. edible bone-in meat
1. heart and organ (½ liver, ½ other organ) 2. edible bone-in meat 3. edible bone-in meat (or muscle) 4. edible bone-in meat
1. muscle meat 2. edible bone-in meat 3. edible bone 4. muscle
just keep repeating between bone and muscle meat for remaining meals

You guys are so nice! thank you so much for all of your help! I think I figured out why the pictures got deleted, but here they are again this is my baby boy<3 So, a little bit about him, he is 2 months and a half, very active, has a great appetite and he is very sweet. He looks a bit thin to me, he is my first ferret, but I just wanted to share the pictures with you guys and see if you can let me know if it's just crazy paranoid me or if he really is on the thin side, lol! He is weighing 570 grams. I started giving him chicken chunks, beef chunks, chicken liver, and heart. OH, and he had a quail egg and went nuts <3. He loves it all and goes crazy for it. I wanted to start the bone-in meals today actually, but I am a bit afraid of giving him bone -in like chicken wings or necks, he is quite small and I don't want him to choke, hurt his mouth or break a tooth. So, for today I minced chicken wingettes for him and I kept the wingtips complete and thought to give him those first, since they are smaller, and feed them together with the minced wingettes. Is that ok? Would this be an ok menu for him? let me know if you guys think I should change anything: Monday AM: Organ meal (liver and kidney) Monday PM: Chicken wingette Tuesday AM: Chicken wingette Tuesday PM: Chicken neck Wednesday AM: Beef heart Wednesday PM: Chicken neck Thursday Am: Duck and beef muscle meat Thursday PM: Chicken ribs Friday AM: Beef heart, liver, and kidney Friday PM: Chicken ribs Saturday AM:Chicken wingettes Saturday PM:Chicken ribs Sunday AM: Turkey and beef muscle meat Sunday PM: Chicken Neck Guys, for the amount of food, what would you suggest based on his weight? also, for the organs I placed it in two days, for a total of 4 meals, is that right? I will rotate between proteins every week, for the bone-in what types of bones can they handle at this age? like chicken necks, chicken ribs, chicken wings, rabbit ribs, and what else of the rabbit? I give my pups (10 month old GSD and Siberian Husky) rabbit paws with fur, can I give him that too? at this age?, also I will be giving him whole prey at least 2-3 times a week, if I feed whole prey one of the days, how many mice should I give him? in the AM and PM. Also, wherein this menu should I place the whole prey, I saw the chart in the forum but I didn't quite understand how to mix the two diets, frankenprey and whole prey. I will start by giving him pinkies and moving up towards adult mice and rats, I will also be giving him quail. How to calculate the food intake, for example, if I were to feed him 3 oz per meal, so 6 oz a day for a total of 42 oz (1,190) a week. So, in a day it would be 42 grams per meal, for a total of 170 grams. Out of the 1,190 grams a week I would calculate 66% muscle meat, 14% raw meaty bone, 5% liver, 5% other organ and 10% heart, is this right? I appreciate this sooo soo much! Pictures:

OMG!!! SO CUTE!!!! He looks just like my Charlie with a pink nose! Welcome to the forum!!!
Kits are quick to switch to raw. I know mine was.
You will want to add in another protein as well. You mainly have chicken in there. Give him lots of varieties like rabbit and mice too. Use turkey necks and backs but you may need to add in a bit more meaty parts too because those are quite boney.
I feed whole prey 3 times a week. So when you add in 1 whole prey meal you will replace that with one muscle meal. When you add in 2 whole prey meals then the second one will replace a bone in meal. When you add in 3 whole prey meals then the third one will replace an organ meal. My ferret won't eat chicken.
Here is my plan with whole prey.
Mon AM Turkey bone in meal Mon PM Beef muscle meal
Tues AM Mice (2 adult large) Tues PM Pork bone in meal
Wed AM Rabbit bone in meal Wed PM Heart (beef)
Thurs AM Mice (2 adult large) Thurs PM Beef muscle meal
Fri AM Turkey bone in meal Fri PM Pork bone in meal
Sat AM Mice (2 adult large) Sat PM Liver/Kidney
Sun AM Rabbit bone in meal Sun PM Pork bone in meal (sometimes lamb)
I will give an egg once a week either on Tuesday or Sunday when he has 2 bone in meals. My portion sizes for my male is 2 oz at each meal. I even weigh the mice. With kits give them as much as they will eat!! Always have food available for him. Ferrets tend to leave the rabbit feet. lol If you give chicken feet make sure you add in more muscle meat as the feet are too boney.
What did you name your cutie? When you hold him up under his arms he looks good. He should look like a tube sock. So he looks good.

Thank you so much for your reply, I will definetly add in more variety! His poops were a bit liquity at first but now they are more firm, so very happy about that! His name is Chandler, after Chandler Bing from Friends, my favorite show and favorite character Yes, he does look like your baby! so cuteee Update, tired giving him a chicken wing tip, but he couldn't eat it properly he really wanted it but his teeth are super small right now, so it might take some getting used to and practice. For now, I'll calculate the bone intake and give it to him minced. He did however manage to eat a quail wing, so that was super exciting This forum is soo awesome, happy to be here

Such a gorgeous baby! Charlie how you do ur turkey bone in meal also the pork and rabbit? Is it grinds? I chop up the bones with a meat cleaver. I use pork riblets and again I chop it up for him to eat it and the same with the rabbit. He does eat enough bone but doesn't eat all of it but he does eat quite a bit of it. Some of the bigger chunks remain but he does manage to get some of it bitten off and the bigger chunks are smaller.

You will find with organ meals it will be softer and darker from the blood and with bone in meals more firm. That's why I love giving him his mice meals because they are so well formed. Chandler will get stronger as he gets bigger. Giblets help to strengthen their jaws. That would be a muscle meal.
