any tips on differentiating between an adrenal male playing with his younger female cagemate and aggressive/sexual behavior? sometimes it looks pretty rough. 😰😰

They can get pretty rough. If it becomes constant where he is always attacking her you will need to separate them. We have had a 3-4 ferrets that were obsessed with attacking one particular fert, and one female that would only accept one out of a business of 9. If there is poop or blood during these encounters it's more than play and the smaller or weaker one needs protection
