Hello; First sorry for my poor English, it is not my native language. I have 3 male sibling ferrets and they are 7 months old. Two of my ferrets have only one descented testicle ( they descended 2-3 weeks ago). Are testicles can descent in different times? And one of my ferret still doesn't have any descented testicle yet. According to forum posts I learn that descenting of testicles can take 12 months for ferrets. But do two testicles descent at the same time or they can descent in different times (for example a month apart)? Nearly there is no ferret owner in my country. I contacted with 4 different veterinarians and none of them know anything about ferrets. Should I worry for them, because I love them so much Sorry again for my poor English. Thank you for your helps.

They are just freshly coming of age at half a year and still have time yet to descend. I would wait and see for another few months. If they haven’t descended in a year’s time I’d have them neutered, as when they stick up there they tend to get testicular cancer I’ve read. Did you plan to keep the ferrets unneutered their whole life or were you waiting for the first season to pass?

I am not planning to neutered them and try to keep whole life unneutered also I don't have any breeding plan too. I am only worried about neutered related adrenal disease. So if I understand correct you think that two testicles don't need to descent at the same time, they can descent in different times. Thankyo again for your reply.

I have a male who is just coming up on 10 months old. He does have both testicles now fully dropped but one did certainly appear well before the 2nd one, they did not come down together.
