Yoshi and I said our good-byes over several hours last night. He was one of only a few ferrets that I've lost that I knew actually wanted to be cuddled as he slipped across the Rainbow Bridge. Yoshi was the cutest ferret ever when we spotted him in a store. Absolutely irresistible. yoshi baby by unclejoe1158, on Flickr He was sooo cute, that we couldn't bear to leave his sister Abita behind so he wouldn't be sad. He was able to leap across a 3 foot gap when he was young, but that all went away when he ballooned out with belly fat around 5 months. It's like Yoshi knew what was coming and wanted to get his licks in while he could. Then one day I find this IMG_2815 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr He was a kisser when younger, too. Poor guy went blind with cataracts when he was 6 but he still got around without walking into things, and still loved cuddles and treats. IMG_1874 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr So Long buddy. Save me a place at The Bridge .

I wonder if I should ask the crematory for a volume discount. I've been there 6 times in 2 years
