I have 2 ferrets that have lost weight. They drink and eat with no issues. They are inside only. They are still playing as usual ( they haven’t slowed down a bit ). They act the same as they have been. I took them to vet other than the lost weight no other issues. Any advice?

It is that time of year (in the Northern Hemisphere, that is)--they slim down for summer. Depending on their size and age they can lose up to a pound in a relatively short amount of time.
Is this your first spring with them? How old are they?

i was going to say the same. all of my ferrets have been at their maximum weight either their first or second winter. This is Yoshi at 5 MONTHS, over 4 lb. He lost a full pound later that year, and settled around 3 lb as an adult. DSCF2471 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr
